Mysterious Saturday Review: Skirting the Grave

Maddie's sister has convinced her to take on a new intern. While Maddie's skeptical, she heads for the train station to pick her up. There she discovers the body of a young woman who looks like someone ready for the fashion police. She's shocked to discover the woman is actually her intern.

She's even more shocked to discover said intern on her doorstep in the middle of night. Dumbfounded, she learns that Isobel has a twin sister. Now she's trying to figure out if the body identified is the wrong body. Maddie's certain the intern who appeared is Isobel - she has fashion sense and the right vocabulary.

Isobel has no idea who would want to murder her. Is the murder an case of mistaken identity and is the killer still after her?

My Thoughts: I really enjoy this series. I love the fashion descriptions and the storyline of Maddie being able to read fashions. I love the store and the customers. I love the relationship between Maddie's father and her aunt. Maddie's love life becomes a little complicated in this chapter. I love the strange death and how hard it is to identify the body. A fun addition to the series!

Cover Thoughts: Love the cover - especially that yellow dress.
