Christmas books are some of my favorite picture books. I bought several news ones this year for the library. These posts are mix of books purchased and books sent for review.
One Christmas Adventure:
Animals work together in the snow to visit family for the holidays. A sweet book about friendship and teamwork. The touch and feel parts of this book adds to the fun of reading it!
Llama Llama Secret Santa Surprise;
Llama Llama's class are gifting secret gifts this year. Llama Llama doesn't know what to gift his person - nothing seems creative enough. This book is a great introduction to gift giving, keeping secrets about gifts, and spreading kindness. This book is great for readers who love this TV series.
The Joyful Book:
The new Todd Parr book is everything you'd want it to be for a holiday story. It's diverse in both holidays and characters. The illustrations are bright and cheerful. And all celebrations are welcome. It's all about finding joy in the big and little moments of the holidays.
* This book makes a wonderful gift and is a must have for your library collections.
Dinosaur Christmas!
A big snowstorm fell at the North Pole and Santa needs help clearing the snow to find his sleigh. He calls on his dinosaur friends to help him save the day. This book is perfect for readers who love dinosaurs and transportation.
Christmas is Joy:
All the things about Christmas that give us Joy! The illustrations are wonderful and I love the silver foil that make artwork pop. This is a sweet story about joy and family and being together.
