About the book
Confessions: The Private School Murders is the gripping second installment in James Patterson’s #1 New York Times bestselling new teen detective series!

Wealthy young women are being murdered, and the police are looking for all the right answers in all the wrong places.  And Tandy Angel wants to know who’s really responsible.

As the victims continue to pile up, can Tandy untangle the mysteries in time?  Or will she be the next victim?

The Clue Set-up: There have been a string of murders on the Upper West Side in NYC.  A killer is on the loose targeting private school girls, and while the police look for all the right answers in all the wrong places, Tandy Angel is determined to uncover who is really responsible.  Tandy has shared these five clues that hint at who the killer may be.

But what is going on in Tandy’s mind as she tracks the footsteps of a killer?  Here is one of Tandy’s true CONFESSIONS, an inside look at her thoughts and feelings.

To piece together the full story and get an inside look at this thrilling story, you’ll have to pick up a copy of Confessions: The Private School Murders, on-sale October 7th however books are sold.

Confession #3:

Tandy Angel, mastermind determined to track down a serial killer targeting private school girls on the Upper West Side, confesses her hunch in a key moment to uncovering the person responsible in Confessions: The Private School Murders:

“I've got a hunch that Lena and Stacey were shot with the same gun, but after the killer left if behind with Lena he had to get a new one.

He then used that gun to shoot both Adele and Marla.”

Book Summary:

In less than twenty-four hours Meghan Chase will be sixteen. Countless stories, songs and poems have been written about this wonderful age, when a girl finds true love and the stars shine for her and the handsome prince carries her off into the sunset.

But Meghan suspects that it won’t be that way for her.

After all, Meghan has a secret destiny—one she could never have imagined….

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan’s life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school…or at home.

When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she’s known is about to change.

But she could never have guessed the truth—that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and a pawn in a deadly war.

Now Meghan will learn just how far she’ll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face…and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.

Here's my review of the book:
(copy provided by Big Honcho Media)

Penny Lane hates guys - all guys. This starts from the moment she catches her perfect boy with another girl. All the years dreaming, flirting, and kissing immediately fly out the window. She so fed up that she's swearing off all boys until she graduates high school. Plus, she's not keeping quiet about her idea. She shares it with Tracy, her BFF, who thinks she's a little crazy. Then her ex-best friend is suddenly single and wants to hang out. Penny Lane almost doesn't meet Diane for coffee because Diane dropped her when she became a twosome, but when she does, she ends up spilling her whole Lonely Hearts Club idea. To her surprise, Diane loves the idea and wants to join. Together, they persaude Tracy, and they storm the school. Soon girls flock to their sides wanting to become part of the sisterhood. The boys however are not pleased, especially a cute boy flirts with Penny Lane. She did make the club rules, but can she break them and more importantly does she want to?

A wickedly cute book. I wish there was a Lonely Hearts Club when I was in high school, I definitely would have joined. I LOVE the cover, very fun. I love the sisterhood and how everyone came together on Saturday Nights.

Contest for a book I'm dying to Read!

Win a ARC of this book over here!

This book looks super cute:
A Most Improper Magick: a Regency fantasy trilogy

But Kat Stephenson is no ordinary young lady.

Kat's father may be a respectable vicar, but her late mother was a notorious witch, her brother has gambled the whole family into debt, and Kat herself is the newest target of an ancient and secretive magical Order.

Now Kat's ready to do whatever it takes to win all three of her older siblings their true loves, even if she has to battle highwaymen, Napoleonic spies, wild magic, and even ghosts along the way.
