Top Ten Tuesday: Moms

This week's topic is in honor of Mother's Day. I'm using this week to highlight books I've read this year with great mothers.

The Hate U Give by Angie ThomasHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling

These were by far the best (and not just this year)

The moms in these books stood out to me too.

What about you? What great moms have you read about lately?

I've only read about the moms in the Harry Potter books on the list you've shared with us. Some of the others I still want to check out!

I have only read Harry Potter from your list, but I do agree, HP has some memorable mothers, of both the good and bad variety.

It's so hard to think of good moms from books, because so many are missing or dysfunctional, or downright evil.

Yes, Molly Weasley was a wonderful mom. So was Lily Potter!

Marilla Cuthbert from the Anne of Green Gables series is another fictional mom that I really look up to.

Here is my TTT.
