Event Pictures: Jack-o-lantern Spectacular

Every year, on Halloween, we like to go to the Jack-o-lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo. We make a date out of it with dinner out and then a viewing of the pumpkins.

Here are some photos I took of the night:

I loved this camping scene

This Celtics scene was great!

Lots of pumpkins in the trees

And lots of face pumpkins

I loved the way they worked the fountain into this one

Scary!

A cute tiger

This was probably my favorite pumpkin - can't you just imagine a Hallmark movie in the backgrounds

Paris is always a good idea

The wonder of Stonehenge

A different sort of pumpkin

Niagara Falls

I loved this face

An Owl

More faces

So many pumpkins up high

I love the lights here

Halloween Post

Last weekend, my husband and I attended the Jack O'Lantern Spooktacular at the Roger Williams Zoo. It's an impressive site with 5000 pumpkins carved and sculpted. There's tons of people, but it's a fun night.

This year, the pumpkins were darker and as a result, most of our pictures came out poorly.

Here's a few good ones:

a pirate

A howling wolf

The North Pole - where they had fake snow falling and a awesome Santa pumpkin
(that didn't come out right in our photos)

Harry Potter (using flash which we were not supposed to do)

A clock tower with rotating pumpkins - also with flash

A Castle

The Cat in the Fiddle

Celtic Pumpkin

Lots of Faces
