Review: Snow Day

It's been super cold here and we sadly have no snow.

Nina loves the snow. She's been playing in the snow all winter, but they haven't had a snow day yet. But one April, her teacher says snow is on the way. Will there be enough snow to have a snow day?

My Thoughts: This is a cute story about a little girl's love for snow.  She has so much fun playing in the snow. This is a fun series.

What do you like to do when it snows? I like to drink hot chocolate!

Picture Book Wednesday: Spring Books (2)

Spring is just finally here! And I'm so excited for warmer weather and flowers blooming!

This board book shares moments with bugs, butterflies, and flowers - and finally sharing moments with their family.

A large egg arrives on the farm - who could it belong to? And what could be inside?

Never fear, Sherlock Chick is on the case. This was a fun farm mystery

The rabbits are hungry! It's time to fill up the soup pot with vegetables.

A concept book on counting and talking about foods - win win!

A ready-to-read book featuring a school project of taking care of a garden. The class tends to the garden and grows vegetables and fruits - which includes a yummy feast!

Lots of knowledge here and great to try new things.

Picture Book Review: Dinosaur Expert

36625273

Kimmy loves dinosaurs. She knows Everything about them. So she's so happy for the class field trip to the Natural History Museum. But when one of the boys questions whether girls can be paleontologists, she becomes very quiet.

I Loved this STEM picture book - the message was great. I loved the information about dinosaurs, the teacher, and how Kimmy gained confidence.  I really liked the illustrations too.

I just saw that this book is part of a series about a classroom and I'm eager to read more of these books.

Library Recommendation: Perfect for your public or school library
