Most Disappointing Book/Book You Wish You Loved More Than You Did?
I don't finish the ones that I don't like because I don't want to waste the time reading something I don't like. That said, a new installment of an adult book series that I loved didn't hold my interest.

Book you recommended to people most in 2011?
Tons but Anna and the French Kiss, The Agency series, Divergent are the ones I've been talking about lately.

I really liked Melina's post on Sexy Times in YA and of course all the #YAsaves moments

5. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?
BEA - I LOVE this event and finally meeting Tera Lynn Childs and meeting Maureen Johnson, Sara Shepard, and Sarah Mlynowsk Basically I LOVE meeting authors and bloggers and librarians and chatting about books

6. Best moment of book blogging in 2011?
Hearing from authors who are happy I liked their books

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?
Views: Adult Review - Cedar Cove Christmas (803)

Goodreads Challenge - where you can challenge yourself to read X amount of books and it keeps track of them for you

1. One Book You Didn't Get To In 2011 But Will Be Your Number 1 Priority in 2012?
There are so many books in my TBR pile, but I think Why We Broke Up will be the first.

2. Book You Are Most Anticipating For 2012?
Too many: Ilsa and the Happily Ever After, Insurgent, Out of Sight Out of Time, Bitter Blue, Taken by Storm, Spell Bound, and countless others

3. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging In 2012?
Interact more with readers and leave more comments on other blogs. I've been starting to do this more lately, but I hope that I can keep it up!

I just realized that a lot of these questions were WAY too hard for me to answer. It's so hard to remember an entire year's worth of blogging/reading/memories

Books I'm Dying to Read: August Edition

Circle of Fire: I can't wait to see how this trilogy will end. It's simply an amazing Gothic tale of good vs. evil between sisters. Plus I LOVE Michelle Zink (She came to visit my library with Jessica Verday) GoodReads - out August 1st

Ingenue: I liked Vixen and am interested to see where this is going to go. Plus the cover is gorgeous! GoodReads - out August 9th

Want to Go Private? Girl meets boy on-line. Girl and boy meet. Then she goes missing. Sounds intriguing - plus I LOVE this author. GoodReads - out August 1st

Dear Bully: A collection of 70 stories about author who've dealt with bullying. Sure to be an emotional read. GoodReads - out August 31st

Always a Witch: Sequel to Once a Witch. Tamsin is forced to follow her enemy into the 19th century - where she becomes stuck, but hopes to break free from the family curse. GoodReads - out August 1st

Cleopatra's Moon: This is being described as Luxe in the ancient world - a world of Rome and Egypt at war. I loved Luxe and books set in the ancient world. Plus I LOVE the cover! GoodReads - out August 1st

Epic Fail: A modern day Pride and Prejudice!!! Enough said. GoodReads - out August 2nd

Populazzi:Cara has never been popular - until junior year when she changes schools. Suddenly she can start with a fresh popular slate. GoodReads - out August 1st

Blood Ties: Part of the Blood Covern series ( I still need to read Night School, but I love this series) GoodReads - out August 2nd

Bloodlines: The spin-off series of Vampire Academy. I have the ARC and can't wait to read it!!! GoodReads - out August 23rd

Edda: I really liked Epic. Saga was ok. Curious about Edda. GoodReads - out August 4th

Medusa Plot: The first in the next series for 39 Clues. I have an ARC of this and can't wait to read what comes next for the Cahill family. GoodReads - out August 30th

Ten Things: Bookish Anticipations for 2011

Now that we've rung in the New Year - let's talk about the amazing bookish year 2011 promises to be. It's really hard to pick just ten, but I'm going to attempt it.

1. Game of Thrones on HBO- I'm seriously debating add this to my cable - just for this show. It's actually based on one of my ALL TIME favorite series
2. Eona - seriously LOVED Eon - have been waiting AGES for this book
3. Lola & the Boy Next Door - adored Anna and the French Kiss, can't wait for more by Perkins.
4. Liar Society - read the 1st chapter- HOOKED
5.Outside In - Love Maria V. Snyder, can't wait to see what's in store for Trella
6. What Happened to Goodbye - adore Sarah Dessen's books.
7. Trial by Fire - adored Raised by Wolves, one of my favorite werewolf reads. Plus the author is awesome!
8. Sweet Valley Confidential: 10 years later (I devoured these books in my teen years and I'm beyond curious.)
9. Medusa Girls - I LOVE Tera Lynn Childs and can't wait to read the start of this darker read with girls kicking butt.
10. Abandon - LOVE Meg Cabot
