Teen Summer Reading Program: Libraries Rock (3)


I haven't finished narrowing down all my programs for summer yet for teens, but here are some ideas I'm kicking around based on the theme this year.

 These ones are a little bit different than the previous ideas!

Painting Rocks
(could start a rock garden or share rocks of Kindness)

Pet Rocks
Create adorable fluffy pet rocks using yarn from pom pom trimmings. This is a fun and easy rock craft for kids

 Rocks for your Bath (Bath Salts)
Easy to make soothing chocolate bath salts- makes a great gift for Valentine's Day though you should make extra. You will want to keep some for yourself.

 Food Programs:

 Rock Candy
Sheet rock candy. tween library craft. dig into reading theme.

Pop Rocks
Make it @ Your Library: site full of makerspace project ideas for your library!
