NaNoWriMo completed!

Congratulations, winner!

And on the last day of the month, I breathe a sigh of relief because I finished.

I normally finish with a few days left of the month to spare, but this year was harder.

The story is not complete.
I tried something new this year - an adult Christmas Romance.
I'm hoping to make it read like a Hallmark movie.
And yes, it does need a lot of work.

I debated about writing something new this year, but in the end, I decided (also at the last minute) that I wanted to write something fun.

Did anyone else participate this year?
How did it go?

Picture Book Review: Goodbye Book

24396881

A goldfish lost his companion fish and shares his grief.

Todd Parr does it again. He shares all about different kinds of grief - and how there's not just one way to grieve. It's sweet and touching and just a little bit sad. A great way to introduce death to kids.

Graphic Novel Review: Check Please

Check, Please!: #Hockey, Vol. 1

Helloooo, Internet Land. Bitty here!

Y’all... I might not be ready for this. I may be a former junior figure skating champion, vlogger extraordinaire, and very talented amateur pâtissier, but being a freshman on the Samwell University hockey team is a whole new challenge. It’s nothing like co-ed club hockey back in Georgia! First of all? There’s checking. And then, there is Jack—our very attractive but moody captain. (Summary from the publisher)

My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this graphic novel. I'd been hearing about it for AGES and I'm so glad I got the chance to read it. Here's what I liked about it:
Pies
Hockey
Friendships
College
Vlog
Embarrassing Parents
Bitty
Jack
And that ending!

I want more immediately!
