Series Spotlight: Ballet Bunnies

The New Class:
Millie can't wait to start ballet classes. When she arrives at the studio, it's clear that some students have been studying for a long time. They aren't nice about her beginning attempts. Millie's not sure she wants to come back to class, but they she meets the ballet bunnies. These bunnies live in the studio and know all the steps. Maybe they can show Millie a few moves. Could her new friends help her enjoy ballet again?

Let's Dance:
The ballet class is going to perform in their very first performance. Millie and the bunnies are so excited. But when the big day arrives, Millie has butterflies in her stomach. She's not sure she can go on. Can the bunnies help calm her nerves in time for the performance?

My Thoughts: This new series is perfect for those who love ballet and animals. I loved the ballet moments; it made me wish I was taking the class along with the students. And of course who could resist ballet bunnies. They're super adorable. We could all do without mean girls in our lives, but they do make for good conflict. I'm looking forward to reading more about Millie and her new friends.

Cover Thoughts: Super Cute!

Adult Review: My Fair Princess

 * Book 1 in a new series *
Gillian, the daughter of an illegitimate prince, spent her youth in Italy. But after an incident, she's spent back to England to find herself a suitable husband. Due to the details of her birth, she's been kept out of polite society and allowed to grow up wild. Now she has to reign in her wildness and conform to society.

Her cousin, the straight laced Duke of Leverton, agreed to teach her the ways of society. But after a few blunders, the ton is talking. Instead, the family whisks away from London to the country where a few more lessons are in order.

The more time Gillian spends with the Duke, the more she wishes her life could be different. She loves making him laugh. She loves making him forget about all those rules. Could there be something between them?
My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this romance. I loved Gillian and her wild ways. I adored her scandalous behavior. I loved the banter between Charles and Gillian. The moments in London were highly entertaining. I felt bad for Gillian and her family life. I enjoyed Grace's half-borther, it seems as though he has a previous book of his own. I liked how Gillian wasn't afraid to take matters into her own hand. I like how she has the skill set and the intelligence to do waht needs to be done, even if the aaction is risky. I really liked the young boy who wasn't afraid to help her out. An enjoyable read with a My Fair Lady plotline.

Review: Die for Me

After the death of her parents, Kate and her sister move to Paris to live with their grandparents. Both girls are devastated by their loss. Georgia buries her grief and continues her life as a social butterfly. Kate on the other hand, hides out in her room until her grandmother forces her outside.

Kate starts spending her days at an outdoor cafe, with her nose buried in a book. The world of books make her forget her troubles. One day she spots a boy. He's adorable.

She can't get him out of her mind. Suddenly, she sees him everywhere. After a chance encounter at a museum, the two go on a date. The date ends up revealing more about Vincent than he desires.

He's not normal and neither is his live.

As Kate starts to unravel the pieces of information she discovers, she's not sure she wants anything to do with him anymore. She's also not sure she can give him up.

My Thoughts: The start of a new series shows the power of love, friendships tested, the bond of sisters, and danger. A new twist to the flood of paranormal books conveys the uniqueness of this story. I loved unraveling the mystery with Kate and understanding Vincent's world. I loved the sisters relationship - and how it changed because of their parents' death. I loved reading about Paris - I could almost picture myself walking down the street along with Kate. If you're a fan of paranormal romance - don't miss out on this book!

Cover Thoughts: This cover is different than the one on the ARC - which is a girl in a boat on the river wearing a blue dress - which matches a scene in the book. The new one (the red one) is gorgeous, but it doesn't match the book. It does however have a lovely view of the Eiffel Towel. I still like the old cover better:
