Picture Book Review: B is for Bagel

An alphabet book with great photos that will make you crave bagels. Which works, because there is a recipe for making bagels!

A delightful read and fun for story times.

Picture Book Wednesday: Bear is Awake

Bear wakes up during the winter, finds a cabin, and befriends a little girl in this alphabet tale.
I really love how the story's told with just a few words. And of course, I love how they go together to the library. This is a very sweet story about friendship. I do hope there's another book about their time together in the spring.

Library Recommendations: A great concept book for your school and public libraries!

Picture Book Review: 1 Big Salad

This simple concept book becomes amazing with the addition of animal vegetables and fruits for the salad. It's hard to decide which vegetable animal is my favorite, but I think it's the Radicchio Lions. They are charming. But I do also adore the Romaine Dogs. A great way to enjoy counting. Plus, vegetables never looked so good! A fun book to share. Readers will enjoy looking at the various animals too.

Picture Book Review: A Season To Bee

The editor of Buzz Magazine hosts a fashion show to showcase the new colors for the Spring season.  All the bugs want to know what colors to wear. Miss V. McQueen shares lots of looks but confides that the more important thing of all to be is...yourself!
My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this book - I loved the unique way it introduced colors. I love the bug aspect. Most of all, I loved the book's message. I love how the colors splashed all over the pages during the fashion show. Just a really fun book.

Cover Thoughts: Cute
