Sword of the Six

A long time ago, there were six warriors who served a dragon and upheld the world. Then five turned traitor, killing the last survivor. The dragon's sorrow knew no bounds. In time, he created six human daughters with dragon blood pulsing through their bodies. They were not normal girls for they had special powers, especially the youngest. She had powers of healing, a large heart, and curiosity. Together she and her sisters trained with the swords of the fallen warriors. For together, they alone could fulfill the destiny for the world: greatness combined with sadness.

This book is the first in a series, but I've been told it's more like a prequel. There are five traitors and they will be each be tracked down in order to save the world. A good start to a new fantasy series for teens/adults. The attractive cover will entice readers. There's also artwork throughout the book. I only wish there had been a map of the worlds. The next book will come out next year -hopefully!
