Top Ten Tuesday: Book Pairings

This week I'm going rogue with the topic. I'm pairing nonfiction books with fiction books - both of which I've read recently.

Shoot Shootings and the aftermath

Lizzy Legend by Matthew Ross SmithThe NBA Playoffs by Matt Doeden

Basketball  and playing for the NBA

The Lovely and the Lost by Jennifer Lynn BarnesFind Momo across Europe by Andrew Knapp\

Find and seek - dogs and humans

Charlotte the Scientist Finds a CureLittle Dreamers: Visionary Women Around the World
Making the World a better place - through science

The Opposite of Innocent by Sonya SonesShout by Laurie Halse Anderson

Terrible relationships that leave scars

National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of WeatherThe Weather Girls
All about weather

Clearly I need to read more nonfiction. What books would you pair together?

I love the Finding Nomo books! So cool to see it pop up here. I had to switch the topic around this week as well.

Oooh, I love this topic! I'm not a huge non-fiction reader, but I've definitely read novels that prompted me to investigate the true story behind the fiction. I'll have to check out your pairings.

Happy TTT!

I like what you did here. I think you should recommend this as a topic for a future TTT.

Hmmm... interesting post this week. I'd probably do a pairing with World War II, since I've read a lot from that era. Maybe My Real Name Is Hannah (the fiction book) along with Defying Hitler (nonfiction).
