Top Ten Tuesday: Reading Wish List

This week's topic is On My Reading Wishlist (if you could make authors write about these things you would.) I thought this would be an easy list to make, but it's not. While all of these books are on the list because they're what I like to read, most of them reflect the teens in my library - in terms of popular books or book suggestions asked.  This is going to be a random list...

More YA from Sarah MacLean - loved The Season
More YA spy books
More YA mysteries
More stories in a short time frame (24 hours or 1 week)
More boy thriller/action books
More romantic comedies from Rachel Hawthrone and Catherine Clark
More sports books featuring female characters
More fantasy books like Throne of Glass
More historical fiction like Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph
More books with traveling to another country like the S.A.S.S. books.

I would love more YA spy books! The GG seris by Ally Carter is one of my favorites, it would great to have more like that! And more YA mysteries would be neat, too! I would love a few that were similar to Adult cozy mysteries, like the ones my Mom reads!

More sport books with female main characters would be really good! And I'd love more Historical fiction!

I just read one of the S.A.S.S. books the other day, and more books like that set in other countries would be amazing!

Love the list!

Great list! I'd love more books where the characters travel to another country. More spy books would be awesome too! :)

I'm loving that so many other people want to see more teen mysteries. I've been wanting more of them for a while, so I hope publishers are paying attention!

I don't really read a lot of mysteries, but I tend to enjoy them when I do read them. I'd love to see more YA mysteries, or just mysteries in general. It seems like such a neglected genre these days.
