Picture Book Review: Day of the Dead Books

Just a few Day of the Dead Books

A day full of celebrations: a parade, cooking traditional foods, sharing family stories, and celebrating their family members. The bright colors give readers a lot to look at in this board book. There's also an end note with Day of the Dead Facts including a glossary.

This board book shares the meaning behind the Day of the Dead celebration with an easy-to-understand explanation. These list-the flaps provide both decorations and more to the story. I love the ending!

Gustavo wants to make a friend - but he's very shy and no one seems to see him. He invited everyone to a concert on the Day of the Dead. I love how Gustovo solved his problem and how everything turned out.

Count to 10 with this Day of the Dead Counting book - gather everything you need for a celebration. This book is in both Spanish and English.

One family is getting ready for their Day of the Dead Celebration. I love how they wait for their grandmother - the person who knows all the family history. I love the ending of this book. Another great story for your library's collection.
