The fourth book in the series starts a year after the showdown Schuyler witnessed. It's takes a little bit to get into the book mostly because so much has happened, but once you're hooked - it's leaves you waiting for the next installment. Romantic drama, danger, inner demons, struggling with yourself vs expectations, and family drama make this series one not be missed. Oh by way - it's about vampires too :)

I've read the first three and this one is on my TBR!
Can't wait to read!
Dottie :)
I'm currently reading the third one. I find it a bit boring, but I'm hoping it will pick up the speed.
The concept is interesting if a bit overdone (i.e. the vampire craze of the past few years).
De la Cruz drags the plot of the books in a manner that makes it obvious she is just trying to get paid for writing more books.
Not enough action happens in any of the books (especially #3) to make their length or copious amounts of pointless babble justified. If not for my OCD need to finish book series, this is one series I would have gladly abandoned.
I suggest The Vampire Academy series to anyone interested in a well done series concerning teenage vampires. It is very similar to Blue Bloods but is action packed and genuinely thrilling.
