Here's a list of books I can't wait to get my hands on come December! It's actually a slow month, which might mean I can play catch up on all the September-November books I haven't read yet!

Taste of Darkness: I LOVE Maria V. Snyder's books and I'm super excited to see how this trilogy will end.
Rebel Spring: I loved Falling Kingdoms and after that ending twist, I'm dying to see what happens next.

Racing Savannah: Love these books! Excited to read about a female jockey.
Third Lie's the Charm: Love this series - and I need to find out what's going to happen next with Kate and the sisterhood.

Merry Market Murder: I'm a book behind, but I really enjoy this Farmer's Market series. Plus this one is Christmas edition!
Buttoned Up: I love these button mysteries!

Roomies: Already Read - but Loved it! Review coming soon!

Mysterious Satureday Review: Fruit of all Evil

Becca's best friend Linda's getting married to a military man before he heads off on a mission. Her soon to be mother-in-law shows up at the farmers' market demanding that Linda and Becca come to dinner to celebrate the engagement. Becca and her boyfriend Ian appear at the house, but their host Madeline is nowhere in sight.

The family sits down to dinner. When the family chef discovers Madeline's car in the garage. Everyone starts searching for her, only to discover her dead in her bedroom.

Now the wedding is on hold until the murder can be solved. Linda and Drew might have to wait until he comes back from his mission to marry. Becca's not about to let that happen. She's hoping to help solve the murder before Drew's deployment.

Will her well intentioned questions start to unravel the truth?

My Thoughts: The second book in the farmer's market mystery series is fresh, fun, and unique. I love the Farmer's Market aspect. The setting makes me want to eat fresh fruit and fill the house with wildflowers. I love when a book makes me crave food. It also includes recipes such as Becca's Strawberry Chocolate Preserves which sound delicious. As for the mystery, I didn't even have a suspect in mind when the twists started coming. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

Cover Thoughts: LOVE the cover

Mysterious Saturday Review: Farm Fresh Murder

Becca's twin sister calls her own morning and begs her to come to work on her day off. Leaving her jam on the stove, Becca rushes over. She realizes someone's been murdered at the farm market.

Straight away, her friend becomes the main suspect. Almost immediately, he goes into hiding after talking with the police. Becca wants to talk with him - to help him clear his name. She hitches a ride to his house to search for clues to his disappearance, where she finds the murder weapon just as the police arrive.

Becca digs a little deeper into the death, discovering more stone walls than she imagines. People don't like her poking her nose into their business. For the most part, people keep to themselves at the market. But Becca's determined to uncover the truth. Will she uncover something more sinister than she ever imagined?

My Thoughts: The first in a new series complete with recipes! This series boats a fresh setting for a fun mystery - with a little romance, a lot of suspects, and plenty of secrets.

The Cover: Eye catching and very different
