Review: Perfect Lies

 * Companion novel to Mind Games *

2 sisters in trouble and each trying to save each other. They've been put into impossible situations by the Keane Foundation. Now they've desperately trying to get out - but they have to go about it separelty and without each other's knowledge. Both of them think they're going about it the right way, but is there only one right answer?
My Thoughts: Told in alternate timing and perspectives, this book's filled with action, danger, friendship, and sisterly love. I love the idea of the future changing with different actions and how it's so hard to pinpoint the future (and the truth). While love plays a huge part in this novel, I loved how sisterhood seemed to be in the forefront of each sister's mind. A thrilling book that was hard to put down.

Review: Mind Games

** This Book is out February 19th **

Fia and Annie are bound to each other. They survive because they have to - together. They're stuck in the hands of a company, who uses each of them separately and against each other. They have no free will.

Annie can see into the future, especially when it comes to her sister. Fia has skills that allow her to always survive.

Fia's sent on a mission, only at the last minute, she changes the mission. She can't kill the boy she's sent to destroy. Instead she helps him escape. It's the second time she's done something unexpected.

This time she can't let anyone know what happened. She can't take the risk they will hurt Annie. Fia must figure out a way to keep the company from seeing inside her mind all while trying to find a way to escape.

My Thoughts: I really loved this book. It sucked me in and refused to let me go. I had to read it to figure what happened. I couldn't put it down.

Think Nikita for Teens: there's action, danger, an evil company, fight scenes, a hot romance, and two sisters just trying to survive. Mind Games unfolds in a matter that asks more questions than it answers, leaving you anxious to uncover more. The past moments indicated a clear moment where everything changed, but then moves back into the present drama. The bond between the sisters is so strong and yet so painful. My heart went out to each of them.  I admire their strength and their loyalty to each other.  I can't wait to see what happens next. It's book I'm still thinking about long after reading it.

Cover Thoughts: I really like it, it's SO striking after I've read the book.

Review: Endlessly

*3rd and final book in the trilogy*

Evie learns that the paranormals expect her to create a gate through which they can leave the human world forever. Evie's not sure she has the ability nor the desire to create the gate.

Not all the paranormals want to leave -including the Dark Queen. When she kidnaps Evie's boyfriend, Evie snaps into action. She teams up with Reth and Jack to travel to the faerie world.

What she sees in the faerie world greatly disturbs her. With great difficulty, she rescues Lend and returns home. However, there's a curse on Lend; he and Evie can't be in the same room without him falling into a deep sleep.

With time running out, she makes her decision. Can she save the life she so desperately desires?

My Thoughts: I BLEEPING love this series. I love Evie - for her fashion sense, her snark, and her loyalty. I really like her relationship with Lend - they're perfect together.  I really enjoy the banter between Evie and Reth and Evie and Jack - it's snark, funny, and charming. I like how Evie desires a normal life, filled with everyday teenage emotions and ideas - like lockers and dances. She wants to fit in both worlds, but she desperately wants to be normal. Her quirks made me laugh. She would be great to hang out with! While I'm sad the series ended, I thought the ending was perfect.

Cover Reveal

Three covers were revealed last week - All gorgeous and two with awesome dresses

I LOVE this trilogy and will be sad to read the end, but at the same time, I can't wait to read it! I love how the covers are so pretty and yet so different. Read more about it here...and keep drooling until July 24th. *Sigh* I know, it's a crazy long wait....

I LOVE the darkness of this cover and the stars shining. It's simply amazing. Read more about this book here.

Number 15 in the Canterwood Crest series - featuring Lauren Towers in her 4th book. This comes out in August. Although Lauren isn't wearing a flowing dress, fashion STILL plays a major part of the cover and series.

Will you check these books out?

Review: Supernaturally

Evie can't believe how normal her life has become - while she loves the idea of a locker, she hates gym class. High school is nothing like what he imagined from watching TV shows. She actually misses her old daring life - where she made a difference. Here it feels like she's simply going through the motions.

Just as the boredom sets it, the International Paranormal Containment Agency asks for her help again. While they've dealt with some of Evie's concerns, she's still unhappy with them. She knows that Lend will be unhappy about her decision, but she agrees to work for IPCA again.

How can she make her relationship with Lend work while trying to trust the IPCA again? Since she refuses to work with faeries, Evie has a new contact who pops in and out of her life at the worst possible moments causing all sorts of havoc.

Is IPCA telling her the complete truth this time? Are her missions really helping anyone?

My Thoughts: I LOVE this series! I love Evie's snark. I love her relationship with Lend. I love the dinner. I love how Evie can see underneath glamor. I love learning more about Evie's world and the creatures in it. I love watching the IPCA and the mysteries unfold. There's nothing I DON'T love about this book!

I'm pretty sad that this is a trilogy - because I can't wait to devour the next book!
Cover Thoughts: Gorgeous, simply gorgeous
