Gift Idea for Star Wars Fans

Star Wars: Millennium Falcon Book and Mega Model

If you're a Star Wars fan, this is a fun book.

There's a small book that talks about the ship, major events of the ship's life, pilots of the ship, games, and of course instructions to build your own Millennium Falcon.

The second part of the kit is pieces for the model. The instructions look well thought out. There are 67 pieces for the model which has moveable parts and of  course secret compartments, perfect for any smuggler.

Movie Review: Solo

See the source image

A few weeks back we went to see Solo.
And while I liked it, I had some thoughts.

The Good:
Lots of action and danger
Humor
Witty
Coming up with the name Han Solo
The Heist
The elaborate plans
Hope

The Bad:
Solo didn't have his swagger

My Thoughts:
I was talking with my husband afterwards and we thought that it's better to create movies based off other characters than the original ones. I loved the other spin-offs with Rey because I enjoyed getting to know her character. But it's really hard to replace Harrison Ford. It just didn't have the same feel.

But I would love seeing a movie about Qi'ra. She fascinated me. I think she stole the movie.

Review: Rebel Dossier

Emails sent back and forth about the plans for the Alliance, including misgivings, thoughts on personal, and how they might change the mind of people.
My Thoughts: A really fun read for Star Wars fans but don't read this if you haven't seen the movie yet. Funny. Smart. Entertaining. Great photos and blueprints. An enjoyable political read.

Cover Thoughts: Fun

Library Recommendation: A must have for your Star Wars fans!
