Picture Book Wednesday: Runaway Tardis

Dr. Who: The Runaway Tardis (Pop Classics)
After a terrible day at her new school, a girl packs a sandwich and runs away. In the woods, she discovers this phone booth where she meets the Doctor, travels to new worlds, and meets a friend.
A fun book that's perfect for fans of Doctor Who. This sweet story will capture hearts and introduce readers to a different world. Plus the artwork is also great.

Picture Book Review: Builder Brothers

The brothers want to create something, they have big plans. But their plans don't work out quite the way they think. And not everyone is supportive of their plan.

I love the message that mistakes can be fixed. I love the brothers working together and being creative. They didn't give up, even when others didn't believe in them. Kids can make a difference!

The brothers can't decide on a car design for the race. Their fighting leads them to build their own design. But a problem with one of the cars leads them to work together and they discover that both ideas are good.

A great book about teamwork and realizing that everyone has great ideas.

Both books have great illustrations and will appeal to those who love building and transportation books.
