Vacation Pictures: Grand Canyon (again)

This is the third time we've hiked into the Grand Canyon - and the second time Rim to Rim.

Here are some pictures:

Vacation Photos (2): Grand Canyon

Yesterday, I shared some pictures of the hike. Here are some more.

Still on the way down.

It was nice inside

Dragging here, but so close to the ranch.

Finally!

Vacation Photos: Grand Canyon

Last week, we took a hike in the Grand Canyon.

We had a cabin at the bottom, so we did an up and down hike. But before we started, we headed to a tulip farm - Wicked Tulips.

We had a lovely BBQ Lunch at Naked Q after we landed. Then drove out to the canyon.

And the view

Quick reading break

Just a few Switchbacks

It was Hot! And there was not a lot of shade...

More tomorrow, so come back.

Picture Book Wednesday: National Park Books

This series from Abdo Kids Jumbo is great. The photographs are amazing. Each book talks about echo systems, nature at the park, climate, and more. It gives just enough information to make the reader want to visit that park.

In Maine, I've been here - to that exact spot on the cover. And it's fantastic.

I would love to travel here.

Traveled to Zion a few years ago - really pretty!

Hiked rim to rim once a few years back and going again this year.

On my list of places to travel

Have you visited any of these parks?
