It's a tie between Crown of Midnight and Dark Triumph - seriously loved those two books so much. I'll try not to use them for every answer!
2. Book You Were Excited About and; Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?
Wedding Night - Love Sophie Kinsella books - but this one was a little too over the top for me. I still enjoyed it, but I didn't love it.

3. Most surprising (in a good way!) book of 2013?
Bomb - I'm not usually a serious nonfiction reader, but I really liked this book.

All I Need by Susanne Colasanti - this book went out a lot over the summer with teens at the library.

Library Wars - I'm not a huge reader of Graphic Novels. I liked it, but it was hard to tell the characters apart.
8. Most thrilling, unputdownable book in 2013?
Besides my answers for #1 - Something Real by Heather Demetrios (out next year) made me angry when I had to stop reading. I didn't want to do anything but finish the book.

I rarely re-read books because of time issues. I don't have enough time to read all the books I want to. I only re-read for book club.

Jenny Han's Summer Trilogy - everyone raved about it, but I wasn't sure I was going to like it because of the FEELS.

How I did this: Went to my read books on Goodreads and sorted by page number and just looked for what I knew I read this year that was the shortest and longest.
Shortest: Chu's Day coming in at 30 pages
Longest: Keepers of the Lost Cities: Exile coming in at 576 pages

More standalone books (it seems I've read lots of series books this year) and more YA. I was on an adult reading kick for a lot of the year. Not that they weren't good - just that I missed a lot of YA books.

I've read a few of the books you mentioned, but the rest I still need to read! I haven't read that James Patterson series yet, but I like that quote! :) Exile was the longest book I read this year too! Oh, Taste Test! I really enjoyed that book! It seems like not many people have read it, which is sad because it was fun!
