Mysterious Saturday Review: Wild Storm

* sequel to Storm Front *
Derrick Storm's on a plane when something goes terribly wrong. Immediately, he takes charge and is table to save it from  crashing - just barely.  When he lands, he learns that this was not the only plane in jeopardy that day and none of the others survived.

He's sent to uncover the truth behind the attacks. The search takes him to Pennsylvania, out west, Monaco, Panama City, and Egypt to unravel who would most benefit from hijacking the planes and killing everyone on board. Not to mention who could have built the weapon - a weapon so powerful that any government wouldn't mind getting their hands on it.  Derrick swears to uncover the truth, but secretly determines that he will destroy the weapon rather than let it fall into anyone's hands - or die trying.
My Thoughts: A great thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat and quickly turning the pages. I love the multiple perspectives - especially in the beginning where you have no idea how the people will all tie together. I love the heart-pounding danger and action. I love Derrick Storm's use to techniques and MacGyver tactics. I liked the double crossing and the betrayals - I never saw the ending coming. A fantastic summer read.

Cover Thoughts: Love it

  1. I'm due for reading a thriller. I've been delving into literary fiction for a couple of months, and now it's time for a change. Thanks for introducing this one.
