This week's topic is Cover Trends. Here's what I left BEA thinking about covers. This isn't a new trend, but it's coming back again (kinda like fashion that way I guess)

The circle that draws your eye into the cover isn't new, but here are 10 upcoming books with the same idea.
Do you like it? Hate it?

You know, I don't really like when a lot of covers use the same thing as a way to draw in readers (see Paradigm as a rip off of Divergent), but each of these covers are unique. I like that they draw your eye in. Great choices!
My TTT!
I have been noticing that trend too! It is not as obvious as other ones, but definitely relevant. I do not mind it for now, but if it becomes an overwhelming fad I can see it getting on my nerves.
Great post!

I like that you picked 10 books with 1 trend - that's a lot harder! It's interesting how you never really notice these things until you have to think about it! :)
I like it. My boyfriend mentioned this trend to me the other day. I was reading Matched, and thought it was a Divergent book, because it had a "big cirle-y thing" on it.
This is an interesting trend. I honestly never really thought about covers like this being a trend, but seeing 10 of them together with similar qualities, it is easy to see how they draw you in.

Interesting! I never would have thought of a circle as a trend... But when you see them all in one place, it makes sense.
