This week's topic is audio books, but I can't listen to audio books because my mind wanders, and I miss things. So, I'm talking about horror books for kids instead. I'm not typically a fan of horror books, but there is one I'm waiting to read.
The One I'm Waiting to Read:
One of my favorite books from my childhood:
Sadly I can't read horror. It affects my dreams. I do like paranormal and magical realism that is not too bloody or scary. I like ghost stories as long as they aren't killing or possessing people (shudder). Nice list! I used to read a ton of horror, but got away from it. Recently read Ronald Malfi's Black Mouth and really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I'm going to listen to my first horror novel next month. I had no idea they did horror books for kids. Here is my post-https://paigesofnovels.com/2023/04/25/top-ten-tuesday-favorite-musicals-at-the-moment/.
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few horror on my TBR but have been too chicken to read them.
ReplyDeleteThese are the kinds of horror books I can handle! I haven't read any of them, but I'm definitely going to. Thanks for the heads-up.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
