This week's topic is books we wish would have companion novels because we're not quite ready to let go of the characters and their world. This happens to me often - but I admit it's hard to remember them. And often with romance novels, you get the story of the sibling or friend group. Which I quite enjoy, so most of my wishes come true.
I always wanted a Kitty novel - which I don't think we are getting - but we are getting a TV show about Kitty
What am I missing?
I'm a bit confused by all of the Anne and Little Women retellings, especially in graphic novel format. NONE of my students come begging for these!
ReplyDeleteA great list. I haven't read any of these, but they look good!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

I agree with your thoughts on Anne of West Philly. What a great retelling that was.

Great list. I like you're take on this week's prompt. Sometimes it's just hard to let go of characters and I always want more from my favorites.

Ah I'm really excited for the spin-off show with Kitty, I felt like she stole the show in the movies!
