Thanksgiving Picture Books (1)

Here are some Thanksgiving reads that I've read this year. I'm still working on updating the collection, so if you have a favorite, please let me know.

I would really love #OwnVoices stories.

Pippa and her family spend the day giving Thanks to all the things they're grateful for. While this isn't a traditional Thanksgiving story (no feast), the sentiment is there. It's funny and sweet. Hopefully this will inspire readers to say what they are thankful for as well.

Family and friends are gathering in the woods for a meal together. I love the idea of everyone (friends, family, neighbors) coming together and bringing a dish to share. The artwork is really well done and full of fall colors.

Kitty wants the Thanksgiving turkey all to herself - and she has a plan for it. But things never go quite the way Kitty imagines. Poor Kitty. Another fun book in this series.

Friends enjoy fall activities together. Their time culminates with a feast from their apple picking and treats from their garden. They do have a thankful tree made from leaves - which is cute. The illustrations are amazing. A lovely sentiment behind this book about friendship, sharing, food, and being grateful.
