Christmas Book Tag

The Christmas Songs Book Tag from That Artsy Reader Girl's  A Bookish Little Christmas!

I'm chatting about books I've read this year.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You”: Favorite bookish couple.
Hattie and Whit! Sweetie and Ashish
Brazen and the Beast by Sarah MacLeanThere's Something About Sweetie by Sandhya Menon
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas”: Name a book where a character is away from home (school, vacation, etc.).
Does a quest count? Of course it does!
We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal
“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: Name your favorite “little” book (children’s book, short story, novella, etc.).
I read a bunch of picture books this year - partly because of my job but also because I love picture books. Here's one that stood out to me.
Because
“Santa Claus is Coming to Town“: What book(s) do you hope Santa brings you this year?
I didn't ask for any books this year, but I always love a good Christmas romance!
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”: Which book turned your nose red (made you ugly cry)?
The dog scene made me bawl my eyes out
The Bridge Home by Padma Venkatraman

“The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Your favorite book/kind of book to read during the holidays.
Romance. I have these books that I'm hoping to read over the holidays
(The Season is a re-read)
Four Days of You and MeProtect the Prince (Crown of Shards, #2)The Princess Who Flew with Dragons (Tales from the Chocolate Heart, #3)The SeasonAlmost Just Friends (Wildstone, #4)
“We Three Kings”: Your favorite trilogy.
I don't read a lot of trilogies - mostly because they turn out to be series.
But I really liked this trilogy:
The Divided Earth by Faith Erin Hicks
“Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”: A character you would love to be snowed in with.
Oh Lord. Just one? I'll go with Gabriel Duke, but there are several I wouldn't mind...
The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare
“White Christmas”: An upcoming release you’re dreaming about.
So many, but I'll go with a big one
House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City, #1)

  1. I really enjoyed reading There's Something About Sweetie and The Nameless City trilogy! I really want to increase the number of Picture Books I read next year, I usually read a bunch of them, but this year I barely read any. Four Days of You and Me is on my TBR list! :)
