I really love a good historical fiction novel. For those who love the TV show Reign, here are books I would recommend.

What historical teen fiction books do you recommend?
Just looking at your list there are a few I've read on there, and I agree they were great, I know I need to read those on your list that I haven't read yet.

Nice list, I haven't read any of those.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I've never read any of these, but I have the Luxe series on my ereader just waiting for me to get to it! :)
ReplyDeleteI've got Grave Mercy in my TBR pile. Haven't read it yet...
ReplyDeleteMany of my historical fiction picks are verse novels, but I've read a few really good prose novels set in other times and places. Sarah Miller's The Lost Crown is really good.
I tried to read Countess Below Stairs a long time ago but couldn't get into it! Maybe I'll have to try again soon.
ReplyDeleteI need to read these books! I have been wanting to read a good Historical and these look good! :)
ReplyDeleteI love historical fiction! It's so much fun. I especially love it when there's romance in it. I've only read The Countess Below Stairs form your list. I want to read the others, though.

As an adult reader, I love historical fiction--and I know this is in a very different vein--but strong women in Elizabeth Wein's two books --Code Name Verity and Rose Under Fire.
ReplyDeleteOooh I love historical fiction! And also, the cover of most historical books are so lovely, aren't they? :)
