This week's topic is the top popular authors I've never read. This is a tough one (I think easier to do with popular books, but authors....) Usually, I think I've tired at least one of their books, but let me think and look through the slides at Barnes and Noble for inspiration.
- meme from The Broke and the Bookish
James Dashner - I've heard awesome things about the Maze Runner, but it's always out of my library.
Markus Zusak - I haven't read the Book Thief because that will make me cry. I really should try one of his other books.
Marissa Meyer - I've been reading to read Cinder - just haven't gotten there yet.
Pittacus Lore - Does seeing the movie count? I am Number Four (Lorien series) is popular at my library.
Rainbow Rowell - I really do want to read her books, but I just haven't yet.
Elizabeth Wein - I want to read Code Name Verity- but again, I don't want to bawl my eyes out.
Ransom Riggs - His books look a little too creepy for me.
Laini Taylor - At first the covers turned me off, but I keep hearing how good these books are...
Lauren Kate - Haven't read her Fallen series
Maggie Stiefvater - Her books look really good, but I haven't read them yet.
I'm sure there are others....What about you?
I can completely understand the choices on your list, James Dashner I mentioned, and Rainbow Rowell is also on my list, as well as Markus Zusak and Marissa Meyer too. I have two Maggie Stiefvater books and a book by Lauren Kate too, so I really need to get cracking on them pretty soon. Great compiled list Jennifer :)

I have Dashner on my list as well. Hopefully I will get around to Maze Runner before too long. I can highly recommend Rainbow Rowell. I've read all of her novels and they were all magic.
ReplyDeleteThe only authors on this list that I have read are Kiera Cass and Rainbow Rowell, which were great!

Maggie Stiefvater!! I so should have put her on my list! This girl in my book club loves her books and has been at me to read one of them and I really need to. I need to read Marissa Meyer too. I've heard good things, but I get scared of hyped up series. Rainbow Rowell is fantastic though. I hope you read Fangirl, it is really worth reading no matter what your book tastes are :)
