Fall in Love with a Great Book!
...is the theme of our big display at the library this month. Despite a rocky start (One gentleman walked by the display as we were setting it up. He took a close look at the books and pronounced them "sissy" books.), the books have been flying off the shelve. I had to restock half the adult portion this morning.
My two Loves are books that I currently can't get out of my head.
What are yours?

I'm in love big time with the Bartimaeus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud. I'm actually a little bummed that I didn't know about these books sooner.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just got a copy of his new book, Heroes of the Valley (and signed. Holy crap!) and I'm really looking forward to that, too.
Oh, and I know it's kinda lame to say that you're in love with your own book, but I just got my first copies of "Sophomore Undercover" and I LOVE what Disney-Hyperion did with the cover and the book.

Those are good books. His latest one is in my to read pile. Awesome that you have a signed copy though. And I have to admit your book looks pretty good.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Hunger Games too! What a great display!
