Picture Book Review: Pride Books

Books for Pride Month (and the rest of the year)

Three verses of If You're A Drag Queen and you know it! This is a super fun book. Lots of movement in this one. Bright illustrations. The end pages show off the names of the Drag Queen. And if you like this one, there's another one:

This is the story of the first Gay wedding in America. It's a fascinating tale on how they figure it out. I love how the story connects to baking a cake. A sweet story complete with photographs.

Love is Love and should be celebrated! You shine and you are amazing.
There's an afterwards about the history of the Black Gay Pride Movement. There's also a page of flags and their meanings with some advice on supporting a child (or really anyone).
